Are you seeking God or do you feel that God is seeking you? Beloved sister, be assured that God is most certainly seeking you out to develop a deep, and personal relationship with him. Developing a relationship with him and his son Jesus Christ is as simple as ABC.
- Admit that you are a sinner. Romans 3:23 tells us that “All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God.”
- Believe that Jesus Christ is the son of God. Believe that he died on the cross so that you might find forgiveness for your sins. John 3:16 says “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only son, that whoever believes in him will not perish, but have eternal life.”
- Confess your sins to him and repent (or turn away) from your sinful behavior. Luke 13:3 says “But unless you repent, you too will perish.” Romans 10:9 says “If you confess with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord’, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.” And in the book of 1 John, he says that if we will only confess of our sins and shortcomings, then God will be faithful to forgive those sins.
If you believe these things, then pray this very simple prayer with me now:
Lord, I know that I am a sinner. I believe with my whole heart that you came to die for my sins. I trust you now as Lord and Savior over my life and will now let you guide me in my journey. I welcome you into my heart and will love you forever. In Jesus’ Name I pray, Amen.
If you have prayed this very simple prayer, God has heard you and angels are now rejoicing in heaven over this step in your life – a step for eternity. Will you please let us know that you have made the most important decision you will every make? We would love to rejoice with you now!
